Trusting in Yeshua

We are living in times where many are facing serious challenges and uncertainties. Economic instability has left countless people struggling with unemployment, rising prices, and financial hardships. Many families are finding it hard to make ends meet, and the pressure of providing basic needs like food, housing, and healthcare weighs heavily on them. We are also seeing a breakdown in moral and family values. The traditional family structure is under attack, with increasing divorce rates, broken homes, and the confusion of modern ideologies that challenge the Creator’s design for marriage and family life. This erosion has left many people feeling lost and disconnected from their faith and their sense of purpose.

We are also witnessing political and social unrest on a global scale like never before. Nations are deeply divided, with conflict, violence, and hostility becoming more common. People are often overwhelmed by fear and uncertainty about the future, as they see the world becoming more unstable and unpredictable by the day.

More importantly, the decline of faith and the rise of secularism are contributing to a major spiritual crisis. Many people are turning away from God, embracing atheism or false ideologies, and abandoning the truth of the Gospel. This has led to a sense of hopelessness, as people search for meaning in all the wrong places, leaving them spiritually empty.

In these difficult times, it is important to trust in Yeshua and remember His promises. He tells us in John 14:27, “Peace I leave you, My peace I give to you; but not as the world gives! Do not let your heart be troubled or afraid.” Yeshua offers a peace that goes beyond the troubles of the world. When we place our trust in Him, we can find rest in His presence, no matter what we face.

We also read in Matthew 11:28, “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Yeshua invites us to come to Him with our burdens, promising to give us rest. In times of hardship, when life seems overwhelming, we should turn to Yeshua, knowing that He is always ready to carry us through. In Romans 8:28, Paul reminds us, “Now we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to His purpose.” Even when it is hard to see the good, we can trust that God is at work in our lives. Yeshua’s love and care for us never waver, and He uses every situation for our good and His glory.

We read in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” When we trust in Yeshua, we surrender the need to control every aspect of our lives and seek understanding for everything we face. Our human nature usually desires to figure out why things happen or how we will solve the problems we encounter. But in trusting the Lord Yeshua, we acknowledge that His wisdom far exceeds our own, and His plans are always for our ultimate good, even when we cannot see it in the moment. As Isaiah 55:8-9 reminds us, “’For my thoughts are not your thoughts and your ways are not my ways,’ says Yahweh. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.”

Trusting in Yeshua means placing our faith in His divine guidance, even when the path ahead seems foggy and unclear. It is in these moments that we need to strengthen our faith, allowing Yeshua’s power to lead us where our future shines brightest. Psalm 32:8 tells us, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.” This is a promise that we are not left to wander aimlessly. God is with us, offering His counsel and leading us along the path He has prepared. When we rely on Yeshua, we let go of the burden of trying to solve everything on our own. Philippians 4:6-7 encourages us, “In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Yeshua Messiah.” Through prayer and trust, we place our worries into His hands and allow His peace to fill our hearts, knowing that He is in control.

Remember, trusting in Yeshua does not mean that we will avoid difficulties or that every situation will unfold exactly as we desire. Instead, it means that no matter what we face, we are confident that He walks with us, directing our steps, and using every trial to deepen our faith and bring us closer to Him. Proverbs 16:9 confirms this for us: “A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps.”
